Product Features & Overview
The 542L from Nabic utilises a tough, resilient PTFE seat design with a very high level of seat tightness, and a high degree of tightness on the discharge side. Pressure leakage through the top of the valve is prevented via the use of a sealed spring cover. The lift is proportional to the flow. It is suitable for liquids and inert gases, including a wide range of media like Hot water, steam, compressed air, inflammable liquids and inert gases, CO2 (to 20C), ethylene glycol and potable water.
This high-quality valve features dezincification resistance materials in all wetted parts, is fully WRAS Approved and meets the BS EN ISO 4126-1 standard. As with the other superb valves in the Nabic range, the Fig 542L Pressure Relief Valve undergoes vigorous shell and seat testing to ensure set pressure before delivery, and is fitted as standard with a tamper-proof seal.
